About

Lean Six Sigma Training

Kanso challenges the “that’s how it’s always been done” mindset.

Founded by Lean Black Belt, Stacy Franklin, Kanso bridges the gap for service-based industries often overlooked by traditional Lean programmes.

Our mission is to provide practical, transformative Lean Six Sigma training that meets professionals and teams where they are today and guides them toward where they want to be tomorrow.

From healthcare to finance, IT to sales, we empower individuals and teams to solve problems creatively, collaborate effectively, and deliver lasting value, no matter their starting point.

Simplicity – it’s literally in our name

Lean Six Sigma Training

Work shouldn’t feel chaotic.

But too often, teams get caught up in inefficiencies, firefighting problems, and navigating complex systems that slow them down.

We believe in cutting through the clutter and bringing clarity, ease and impact to the way people work.

The Kanso way to work:

What we stand for:

Our mission is more than just fixing processes, it’s about helping people and businesses thrive. Everything we do is grounded in these three pillars:

Purpose

Lean is built on truth, and so are we.

Real change doesn’t come from quick fixes or surface-level tweaks—it comes from honest, practical solutions that solve the root cause. Too many businesses waste time working around problems instead of fixing them for good.

We set you and your team up to sustain a culture of continuous improvement by teaching you how to ask the right questions and how to solve difficult problems. We believe in transparency, accountability, and real-world action—partnering with teams who are ready to stop firefighting and start making real progress.

People

Lean is for everyone.

For too long, Lean has been seen as exclusive—reserved for factories or unreachable for smaller teams. We’re here to change that. Our training is accessible, relatable, and practical, making Lean a pathway for businesses of all sizes, industries, and backgrounds.

We’re also about building connections. Progress happens when people come together, so we focus on fostering a community where individuals and teams can share ideas, celebrate wins, and tackle challenges together. Whether through curated resources, peer networks, or ongoing support, we create opportunities to learn, grow, and collaborate.

Progress

The world is changing, and so is Lean.

Traditional Lean principles laid the foundation, but we believe in pushing boundaries.

We help businesses rethink how they work—embracing innovation, eliminating waste, and building agile, future-ready systems. We draw upon the latest tools and insights to keep Lean fresh and responsive, ensuring teams eliminate waste and foster a culture of ongoing improvement. In doing so, organisations stay steps ahead in an ever-evolving landscape.

For us, sustainability means change that sticks. It’s about real, lasting progress—helping teams reduce waste, stay adaptable, and build systems that don’t just work today but continue to drive value long into the future.

Here’s why Kanso is different:

Meet Stacy Franklin

CEO, Founder, Master Lean Black Belt

Hours are lost every single day to repetitive manual tasks, slow approval chains, last-minute firefighting, and meetings that should have been an email. It’s frustrating, exhausting, and, more importantly, avoidable.

Stacy Franklin has spent her career proving that work doesn’t have to be this hard.

Growing up in a family business, she saw firsthand how small, thoughtful changes could make work smoother, faster, and far less stressful. That lesson stuck with her. She knew that most of the frustration and wasted time we accept as ‘just the way it is’ could actually be fixed.

After earning her Lean Black Belt at the University of Limerick, Stacy applied Lean thinking across healthcare, tech, retail, and other service industries—where messy handovers, constant rework, and firefighting were the norm. She’s helped teams cut out unnecessary steps, simplify workflows, and create space for truly impactful work.

Stacy’s Qualifications:

  • Specialist Diploma in Lean Systems (Lean Black Belt) – University of Limerick, NFQ Level 9, 2nd Class Honours.
