Lean Six Sigma Training

What is Lean?

Lean offers a fresh way of thinking and working—it helps you cut waste, streamline processes, and focus on what truly adds value.  It encourages you to question why things are done a certain way, eliminate unnecessary work, and make continuous improvements, both big and small. With Lean, you get a structured approach and practical tools to solve complex problems, improve efficiency, and create smoother workflows.

What is Six Sigma?

Six Sigma is all about quality and consistency. It uses data and problem-solving techniques to ensure processes run smoothly and deliver predictable, high-quality results.

What happens when you combine Lean and Six Sigma?

You get the best of both worlds. Lean helps improve efficiency, while Six Sigma ensures quality and consistency. Together, they give you a structured way to solve problems and make better decisions using data.

We don’t do generic training. Our Lean courses are industry-specific, practical, and tailored to your needs. Whether you’re just starting or want to take your skills further, we meet you where you are and help you get where you want to be.

How is Kanso’s Lean training structured?

Our online, self-paced courses are broken down into three key areas:

  • Lean Mindset & Culture –
Learn how to challenge outdated ways of working and make continuous improvement part of your daily routine.
  • Lean Tools & Techniques –
Discover the most effective Lean tools, when to use them, and how to apply them to real-world scenarios.
  • Lean Problem-Solving –
Use the DMAIC (Define, Measure, Analyze, Improve, Control) framework to tackle complex problems and drive real change.

Our courses are online and self-directed, combining videos, text, interactive content, and case studies. Designed with industry-specific examples, they make Lean tools and techniques directly relevant to your work. You’ll also get downloadable digital tools with step-by-step instructions to apply what you learn. Prefer a customised approach? We offer both online and in-person training tailored to your needs.

How long does the training take?

Our certified Lean training runs for 14 weeks, while custom courses can range from half a day to five days—whatever fits your schedule and needs.

Will I receive a certification?

Yes! You’ll get a University of Limerick & CPD-accredited certificate upon completion of our online courses. Our customised training courses are also CPD-accredited.

Can Lean training be customised?

Absolutely. We design custom Lean training tailored to your industry, challenges, and goals—whether online or in person.

What kind of support do I get after training?

You’ll have access to our online training for up to a year, along with a suite of downloadable tools to keep using Lean in your daily work.

Do I need any prior Lean experience?

Nope! Our training starts with the basics, so if you’re new to Lean, you’ll get everything you need to build a strong foundation. If you already have some experience, you can skip ahead to more advanced tools and techniques.

How much does Lean training cost?

Our certified training course costs €2,495 per person (VAT-exempt). Custom training is priced based on the number of training days required. Interested in discussing your specific needs or exploring custom training options? Reach out to our team—we’re here to help!

Can Lean training work for remote teams?

Yes! Our online training is designed for remote and distributed teams, with interactive tools that encourage collaboration and knowledge sharing.

How does Kanso measure the success of its Lean training?

With all of our training courses, we require students to complete a self-evaluation of their Lean skills and knowledge at the start and the end of their learning and this demonstrates if the learning outcomes of the training have been achieved.

Does Kanso help with Lean implementation beyond training?

Yes! We offer Lean consultancy services to help you put Lean into action, guiding you through real-world implementation.

Does Kanso offer Lean Belt training?

Yes! Our certified training is equivalent to a Green Belt (Level 9 on the National Framework of Qualifications with 6 ECTS credits). If you need Yellow or White Belt training, let us know—we can design and deliver a course that fits your needs.
